Up St George's Day - Emsworth. Slideshow

As a part of a four day celebration of every thing English members of 47 Regiment RA paraded in the square.

The Imjin flower was presented to soldiers to commemorate the Battle of the Imjin River in April 1951 – a key battle during the Korean Warwher eThe 1st Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment was supported by C Troop 170th Independent Mortar Battery, Royal Artillery.  The George Cross was awarded to soldiers of the Gloucestershire Regiment for their bravery.

Organisers say the ceremony made military history as it is the first time it has been done in public.
